Breakfast is served in our bright, glass-roofed Canarian courtyard, accompanied by the gentle sound of the fountain and the intimate atmosphere of a landmark house in the historic heart of Vegueta.

Those wishing to make the experience even more special can enjoy breakfast on our rooftop while admiring views of the neighbourhood and Santa Ana Cathedral. It is a truly exceptional way to wake up in the city.

 

Local produce, handmade specialities and options for everyone

Our breakfast buffet combines variety and quality with careful presentation. The selection changes throughout the week, but excellent ingredients and lovingly prepared dishes always take centre stage.

On the table, you will find fresh seasonal fruit, freshly squeezed orange juice, artisan breads, Canarian cheeses and a selection of international cheeses, Ibérico ham, cured meats, smoked salmon, fresh vegetables, grated tomato and guacamole.

Hot options include eggs, omelettes, sausages, bacon and other freshly prepared dishes. For those who prefer to start the day with something sweet, we offer homemade pastries baked daily, cakes, biscuits, natural yoghurt, cereals, nuts, local honey and artisan preserves.

You do not need to be staying at Suites 1478 to enjoy one of Vegueta’s most special breakfasts.

For hotel guests, the breakfast buffet is included in the room rate. Those who live in Gran Canaria or are visiting the island can also book a table and join us for breakfast.

The breakfast buffet is served at the following times:

Monday to Friday: 8.00 am to 11.00 am.
Weekends: 8.00 am to 1.00 pm.

Prices for non-residents are:

Breakfast buffet in the Canarian courtyard: €30 per adult.
Children aged 4 to 12: €15.
Children under 4: free of charge.
Rooftop breakfast: €45 per person, including two glasses of cava.

Places are subject to availability, particularly at weekends and on special dates.
